Katie Price fans were left in tears when she admitted she was suicidal at the time of her drunk driving arrest.
The former glamor model, 44, detailed her traumatic ordeal in a hard-hitting Channel 4 documentary, Katie Price: Trauma and Me, which aired on World Mental Health Day.
The star has revealed she will now be in therapy once a week ‘for the rest of her life’ as she battles PTSD, anxiety and trauma.

Katie admitted she ‘let herself down’ when she was arrested for drunk driving after hitting a dark place in her sanity.
In September 2021, Katie was arrested for drunk driving after she flipped her uninsured BMW X5 onto its side on a country lane near her home in West Sussex.
The star admitted to driving while intoxicated, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance in court, and immediately drove to the Priory following the arrest.
She was given a suspended 16-week prison sentence and two-year ban by Crawley Magistrates’ Court.

After attending her hearing, Katie told the camera: ‘I have decided to see a therapist every week for the rest of my life. Mental health is cruel, people don’t understand it, it doesn’t show. I need help.’
Katie’s mum added: ‘Katie asked why she was still alive so I don’t know if she was trying to kill herself. It was a cry for help. As a mother this is devastating, you never want to see your child go through this.
Lee, the man who found Katie in her overturned car, said: ‘Katie was hysterical, she told me she didn’t want to be here, I’ve had enough. I gave her a hug and reassured her.
Katie then said: ‘The way I was, I didn’t care if I died. A policeman took a photo of my car and put it on Twitter.

Fans took to Twitter on Monday to express their concern for the OnlyFans star and told others to “stop trolling” as they don’t know what she’s going through.
One wrote: “Seeing all the hate towards Katie Price after she revealed her trauma of being raped makes me sick. People will never believe a woman no matter how hard we try. For some reason they always want the “perfect” victim, and they wonder why the woman doesn’t show up.

Katie revealed that she stayed at The Priory rehabilitation clinic to deal with her post-traumatic stress disorder and added that through therapy she learned to deal with her past and recognize what triggers it.
“I thought a lot about my mental health, I thought I had to deal with it myself and after years of neglect I had a nervous breakdown in 2018 and was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. .
“I had severe depression a few years ago, depression on top of PTSD, I was suicidal, I didn’t want to be here. I tried to kill myself. I got knocked out and got black eyes. I had bruises around my neck. I woke up. I didn’t want to be here.
“It goes back as far as I was raped in a park when I was seven.”

Katie regained control of her life when she opened her OnlyFans account. On her press day, she said: “It’s about being comfortable in my own skin, no one can judge me, I can share whatever I want to share.
“I get so much shit for so many things, so I think I’m gonna fuck you, I’m gonna do what I wanna do.”
The mother-of-five then crumbled again when she was arrested on January 21 on suspicion of breaching her restraining order against Michelle Penticost – the fiancée of his ex Kieran Hayler.

Her mother, who was also crying, told the camera: “When she does these things you can see her face light up, I love spending quality time with her, we will all continue to support her.”

Katie has revealed she attempted suicide after suffering “anxiety, depression and major trauma” following her horrific carjacking in 2018.
She admitted to hitting rock bottom after being raped at gunpoint during the ordeal and attempting to hang herself, but after passing out she ‘saw the faces of her children’ and stood realized that she “never wanted this to happen again”.
Speaking during the documentary, which airs on Thursday, Katie revealed she nearly took her own life after hitting rock bottom.
She said: ‘I suffer from anxiety, depression and major trauma and have tried to kill myself. I tried to hang myself. I knocked myself out. I had black eyes, bruises around my neck, I didn’t want to be here.
“But all I saw were the faces of the children and I never want that to happen again.
‘It was a nightmare. I gave nothing if I lived or died. I have struggled with my mental health for some time.
Speaking about starting OnlyFans, Katie said: “I get so much shit for so many things so I think I’m gonna fuck you, I’m gonna do what I wanna do.”
Katie is mother to sons Harvey, 20, Junior, 17 and Jett, nine, and daughters Princess, 15, and Bunny, eight.
In the documentary, which was filmed following her car accident in September 2021, Katie also admitted that the accident ultimately helped her realize she needed help, and she signed up in rehab.
She said: “Getting in the car was a terrible mistake for which I am so sorry. It was a great example of me being triggered and not knowing how to handle it, an example of me spiraling out of control because I needed help.
