A REALITY star has been allowed to marry a stranger on TV despite three exes filing police complaints over her alleged emotional abuse.
They claim show makers ignored alerts about George Roberts, 40, who appears on Married at First Sight UK on Channel 4-run E4.

His three recent ex-girlfriends have filed independent complaints with the police about his alleged ‘obsessive’, ‘manipulative’ and ‘abusive’ behavior.
They are horrified that Roberts was able to marry a stranger on the show.
The women have raised the alarm after seeing him in trailers for the current round of matchmaking show E4 – but say their claims have been ignored.
Roberts was selected by pundits to star in the show’s current run and married ex-Mrs Britain April Banbury whom he first met at the altar.
One of the exes said: “I’m so shocked to see that he was given a platform on a TV show. I messaged Married at first sight. I said I had it. reported to the police.
“They asked for additional information which I gave and I never heard anything else.”
Another ex said: “I contacted Married at First Sight, E4 and All4 and the producers to tell them he was a known emotional and mental abuser of women.”

The women had all dated him since he divorced his first wife. They each told cops he had “love bombarded” them showering them with affection and gifts before his behavior became “coercive and controlling”.
The series is halfway through its run. Financial adviser George, father of four from Worcestershire, went on honeymoon in the Caribbean with April.
But she hinted on Instagram over the weekend that the relationship was over.

Channel 4, which broadcasts E4, said rigorous checks had been carried out on applicants and that “any such allegations are taken extremely seriously”.
A spokesperson said: “We work closely with our production partners to ensure that all Married at First Sight UK contributors undergo rigorous background and psychological checks, including the most detailed police checks. that a production can undertake.
“Any allegation of this nature is taken very seriously by Channel 4.”
A source from the show claimed she was not made aware of the allegations until after filming wrapped.
Women’s Aid said the entertainment industry should send a clear message that domestic violence will not be tolerated.
