Manchester United will have licked their wounds after the blow they received in the derby at the hands of Manchester City. Erik ten Hag’s Red Devils have so far responded positively to defeats and will surely return to winning ways against Omonia Nicosia in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Brazilian midfielder Antony has maintained his impressive form at Ajax since signing for United, scoring one in two appearances for Ajax before signing this season as well as eight in 23 last season. For the traveling side, he has scored two goals in his two Premier League starts so far. He hasn’t managed to find the back of the net in his two Europa League appearances so far but has looked sharp and eager to cause problems for opposition defences. We support Antony will score anytime.
United are still getting rid of their basket. When they’re good they’ve shown flashes of brilliance, but when they’re back they’re back to what we’ve grown accustomed to in previous seasons; dropping their shoulders, giving the ball away too easily and playing the wrong pass too often.
Saying that, United will react here, that’s what they did under the management of ten Hag, if they play badly in one game they will put it off to the next. Manchester United is currently ranked 10th in the UEFA club coefficients, Nicosia Omonia of Cyprus is bottom of the list at 168th.
Of course the home side will up their game here, they aren’t often a big name as Man United come to play in Cyprus but they will have more than enough to take the three points here and we see it coming to an end 0-2, 2-1, 3-0 so we encourage the visitors to win by at least two goals with Manchester United (-1) in disabilities.
Not only is brave Scott McTominay keeping former Real Madrid tough man Casemiro out of Man United’s starting XI, he’s also making moves to take his crown in the yellow card department. Casemiro picked up an outrageous 15 yellow cards last season for club and country (missing a few games through injury).
McTominay collected nine games in 30 Premier League appearances last season and is almost halfway to reaching the same numbers this season after just seven games with four out of seven games in the league as well as two for Scotland in the League of Nations.
